Top 20 all-time fricking unforgettable Bush moments. #2.
This was probably the most shocking Bush moment for me personally, which is why I’ve saved it for this number two spot.
I really shouldn’t have been surprised - Bush has shown through multiple stages of his political career that he doesn’t hold the same respect for human life that I do. From his record-setting execution totals as a governor (and the average time of just over a half an hour that he used to look over the case files before allowing the executions) to his slow reactions during 9/11 (NORAD - our air defense system, has always intercepted off-course planes within 15 minutes - on 9/11 four off course planes evaded NORAD for over 80 minutes), and even in the way that the Katrina situation was handled (Don’t even give me that “Louisiana had to ask for help” copout - in a national crisis like that our president should be pro-active). Not to mention the two wars that he authorized.
Making light of war is not humorous. Not to me, not to you, and most certainly not to the soldiers and the families of soldiers who bravely defend our freedom. I still find this moment incredible - although I really shouldn’t.
I guess I just don’t understand this man. He’s so far from the compassionate conservative that he played himself to be, it’s incredible. Oh well, one more day right?

This almost made me cry, nothing humorous about this one. I feel sometimes sick to be white.
Uggg… this is the last day!!
There is no excuse for crap like this. I don’t care who your party affiliation is or what your beliefs are. The person who dubbed that clip should be sued for being a sycophantic idiot.
Yeah I wanted to use a better one, but had trouble finding a clip of it at all. The only other one I had showed John Kerry complaining about something… so this one won out.
I can’t believe that he could joke about this.. To be honest it makes me sick to my stomach. Thank God he is gone!! Its about time.
