All time fricking unforgettable Bush moments. #17.
Okay so I was going to bash Bush in this post too, but, unluckily I could not find a video of the quote I wanted. So instead I’ll break out one of my positive memories of our president. Not positive as in happy but… positive because of what it did to bring our country together.
September 11th, 2001.
I truly believe America, and American politics changed forever after this day. For what it’s worth, I think our country was more united than ever at this moment. Divisive politics were put aside, even if only for a few months, and all of us were simply proud to be American. Proud to be a symbol of freedom across the world. Not knowing what was in store for us in the future, but positive that our great nation would bounce back.
It’s too bad that Bush could not keep that unity intact. I think our country would have been a lot better off for it. Instead, with a majority in congress, Bush continued to push divisive politics not only with America but with other countries around the world. How different things would be if we had political parties that were willing to work together for the good of our country. At least for the few months after 9/11, our country had that.
It’s just too bad that it takes a national tragedy to bring about that unity.

The way Bush used 9/11 as his own personal Reichstag fire has done more to advance the harebrained conspiracies than anything else.
He is so nonsensical, but at the same time an opportunist.
Well i think he could have done much better job after 9/11 in order to keep the country united and lead the word toward peace and freedom. But instead he ignited more anger and frustration all over the world against America especially because of his lies about the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
Hie made a ‘NUKILLER’ of the U.S lol ahahahah..Thanks for such a wonderful post, you made my day.
As a politician (and not a human being- sadly, it’s hard to find a politician who hasn’t been rubbed clean of humanism), Bush was given the backing of an entire nation’s patriotism, loyalty, and trust after 9/11. Often the greatest triumphs arise from tragedy. Not with Bush in the driver’s seat. I am absolutely shocked at how much deceit and corruption his administration has been allowed to get away with. Forget about fellatio— what about taking a nation to war under false pretense? If we can talk about impeachment over a semen stain, where do blood stains fit into the picture?
President Bush had a golden oppurtunity to unite the world against Islamic radicalism, instead he fueled its growth.. I don’t hate the guy im disappointed because he could have done alot of good if he actually cared about this country.
